One of the most popular contemporary partner dances was almost stifled out of existence at the end of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen people say Lambada, people think, \u2018Oh, the forbidden dance?\u2019 That is the first thing that comes to mind for people.
